Ken Meccia has helped grow Statewide Abstract founded by his father, Jim Meccia, from its beginnings as a Yonkers-based, three-person startup, to a respected title agency that serves thousands of customers throughout the Tri-State area and across the nation. Ken joined Statewide Abstract right after graduating from college, starting in 1981 as a sales rep covering Westchester County. He learned the business from the ground up, initially training with his brother, Alan who was working as an independent examiner searching for titles in the county record room.
Through the years, Ken has overseen the company’s marketing and sales division, and currently heads up the company’s operations, serving as President. Throughout his career, Ken has also worked as a licensed real estate agent and owner of a real-estate brokerage with offices in Rye and White Plains.
Ken previously served on Hudson Valley Bank’s Business Development Board and on the White Plains Zoning Board of Appeals. A sought-after industry expert, Ken is an active member of numerous prestigious local organizations including the New York Mortgage Bankers Association, the Westchester County Board of Realtors, the Westchester County Bar Association, the New York State Land Title Association, Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors, the Builder’s Institute, and the Business Council of Westchester. He has served on the boards of the White Plains YMCA, The March of Dimes, and The United Way of Westchester and Putnam, and he is a co-founder of the Breakfast Club Real Estate Networking Group of Westchester. Ken has also helped Statewide Abstract raise nearly $200,000 on behalf of St. Jude’s Cancer Center by spearheading the company’s annual St. Jude Scramble Charity Golf Outing, which takes place each year in June.
Mitch Usavich

Mitch spent his early years in managing Statewide’s Poughkeepsie office before becoming the Sr. Vice President of the Production/Operations Department in the White Plains office. His extensive background includes service on the Zoning Board of Appeals and Trustee for the Village of Wappingers Falls, as well as 10 years of service for the town of Poughkeepsie South Baseball and Hockey League. He specializes in problematic title issues both commercially and residentially.
Stephen Spedaliere , Esq.

Stephen M. Spedaliere has been counsel at Statewide Abstract Corp. since 2005. Prior to becoming in house counsel, Stephen was a sole practitioner in White Plains. Stephen is a 1999 graduate of Pace University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut.
Stephen’s experience in the title industry began in 1998 with First American Title Insurance Company of New York in White Plains. From there he joined the law firm of Jason & Nesson, L.L.P. in Rockland County. Stephen brings his extensive experience and knowledge as a practicing real estate attorney to the company. With this experience, he is able to focus both on the legal and title issues to ensure that all of Statewide’s real estate transactions close with the utmost professionalism.
Matthew McAllister

Matt has been working with Statewide Abstract for since 2015. After starting on the production team he moved into a sales role to round out his breadth of understanding in the title industry. As the COO he is focused on Statewide’s growth into the future. He is also a licensed Realtor providing top service to the Westchester County market. This has given him an extremely in depth understanding of title issues which helps him provide exceptional service to his clients. He was honored as a 40 Under 40 Rising Star by the Business Council of Westchester in 2022. Prior experience in financial management, strategic planning, process improvement and research and analytics are of great benefit to Statewide and his real estate clients. Matt lives in Mt. Kisco with his wife and labradoodle. When he is away from the Real Estate market he enjoys spending time with his family and training for ultra-endurance races.

Connie joined the Statewide team in 2006. With her razor sharp technical skills, knowledge base, and long-standing industry relationships, she has expanded and oversees the firm’s platform to support the Manhattan market. As a seasoned expert in the title industry, Connie has mastered the art of connecting clients with the right professionals to enhance the value of the firm’s deep ties to key players. She has a vast array of expertise from her combined sales experience and legal background. Connie is a graduate of New York Law School, which enables her to provide her clients with astute legal knowledge. Her professionalism and incomparable service separate her from the rest. These attributes continue to bring her success throughout the real estate marketplace.
Connie works with a myriad of lending institutions, attorneys, realtors and developers throughout New York in both the commercial and residential arena and her proven method of creating relationships for her clients through networking is the foundation of her success.
Karinta DiMartino

Karinta began her title insurance career with Statewide in 1998, where she managed the day to day operations. After working for a developer, obtaining her Real Estate license, and managing a bank branch in Mount Kisco, title insurance was a natural fit.
She’s loyal to her clients, committed to excellence in service, and attributes her success to strategic networking. She is active member in PNW, Westchester County Board of Realtors, Westchester County Bar Association and participates actively in fundraising for the troops.
Michael Meccia

A graduate of Lincoln College, Michael Meccia has been in the title industry for over 4 years now. He works closely with attorney, realtors, and mortgage professionals in Westchester County. Michael previously worked for Honda Motor Company after graduating school. Michael prides himself on communication with clients and those who work with him can attest to that. He believes that one of the best abilities to have in this industry is availability. Joining Statewide to follow in his father and grandfather’s footsteps has been a great transition and he looks forward to many more successful years. Michael enjoys spending time with his Fiancé and soon to be wife Tiffany and their daughter Olivia Meccia who turns two in May. When he is not with his family he enjoys playing golf and working out.
