On Thursday, June 25th, Statewide Abstract Title Insurance Corp. will host a free Continuing Education webinar for realtors from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm. The topic will be the 10 Most Common Issues Arising with Co-op and Condo Boards in Today’s Market and the webinar will provide 1.5 CE Credits. The speaker, Richard J. Klein, Esq., is a partner for Romer Debbas LLP.

This session will outline the most common issues that we encounter in representing buyers and sellers in dealing with co-op and condo boards and how to mitigate those issues to enhance the probability of your transaction closing.
After owning his own law firm for sixteen years, Richard Klein joined the firm as a partner at the beginning of 2017. Richard manages the firm’s co-op and condominium board practice serving as counsel to approximately eighty-five (85) boards. Richard is also actively engaged in residential and commercial real estate transactions as well as general business matters.
Richard comes to the firm with vast experience representing not only co-op and condominium boards, but also handling residential and commercial real estate transactions. Due to his personal business interests, he has unique experience when it comes to restaurant leasing and has assisted numerous businesses in this regard. In addition, he is an experienced litigator handling cases involving real estate, commercial and co-op and condominium board matters.
This program has been approved in accordance with the requirements of the New York State Continuing Education Board for 1.5 CE Credits. Regulations and Guidelines of the CE Board provide that Credit shall be awarded only for attendance at an entire course or program, or for attendance at an entire session of a course or program. No credit shall be awarded for attending a portion of a course or a portion of a session.
